My first blog. I may be the only one that reads this but who cares. As my title says 38 and never been married. Besides sounding grammaticality incorrect, its rather sad. I'm not sure if it's sad cause I'm 38 and.. you know the rest or the fact I care enough to tell the world know. It seems weird as I sit here watching a Murder She Wrote marathon my mind goes to this.
Most people around me are married or divorced. I hate fitting into that dumb demographic of single black woman in their 30's. Have you seen that study. I hate that study. So what I'm black and happen to be single. So what I'm over 30 and not married. So what.. okay I guess i care.
But then I must ask myself, is it a wedding that I really want or the marriage.
I guess there is a difference. Who knows.
